It's Christmas Eve and I'm so excited! I'm making my way down the East Coast, heading to Granny & Pop Pop's house. I left New York on Thursday and took the Megabus down to Philly to meet up with my sister. Friday morning, we drove down to Maryland to meet up with Dad & Cam. Now we're all about to hop back in the car and drive 6 hours down to North Carolina. I'm very excited to see my family and spend Christmas with loved ones! It wouldn't be Christmas without them!
My two week run of WHITE CHRISTMAS flew by. I had such a great time performing at TUTS and doing such a wonderful show. The cast is incredible and we had such fun! I definitely miss them already! And the audiences were amazing. It was always fun to watch the lights come up on the audience at the end when it started snowing in the house. Everyone would start clapping and immediately turn into a big kid reaching to catch the falling snow. It was very cool! I'm hoping to post some photos soon...
Monday was my birthday and I got the perfect gift... coming home! After just 3 hours of sleep, I was picked up at the hotel at 6:00 and caught a 7:45 flight to NYC. I got to NYC at noon and had the rest of the day to enjoy the Christmas in the City. We walked around Bryant Park a bit, went to the upperwest side and grabbed some lobster rolls for lunch before catching a movie. Then we came back home for my birthday party! A few of my friends came over to help celebrate. It was great to see everyone and catch up a bit after being away for a while. It was a wonderful birthday! And I especially want to thank everyone who left me messages on Facebook. It was so cool to ready the 200+ messages that I got wishing me well on my bday. Very sweet and I felt very loved! So thank you so much!
I wish you a very merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays! I hope you're surrounded by loved ones and the spirit of giving! May God bless you and your family!

Well, it's officially my favorite time of the year. It's 10 days until my birthday and 16 days until Christmas. I loving listening to Christmas music in the car and as I go to bed. Our drive home each night is amazing. Driving through these wealthy neighborhoods is incredible. Every house is fully decked out with lights. It's spectacular. I just did a little more Christmas shopping online yesterday. I'm having everything shipped back to NYC so keeping a mental list of everything is proving to be a task, but hopefully I haven't missed anything!
We opened WHITE CHRISTMAS last night. It's been a long tech week with four 10-out-of-12s in a row. Last Thursday, we moved into the theatre a day early. We started to working with the sets and techning through the show. We got half the first act done the first day, and just kept going the next few days. By Saturday, we had the whole show teched and we even had time to do a run before we started to add costumes. So slowly, step by step, our show really came together and now we're officially open! The audiences have been great, and really full actually. The theatre is so large and I heard that all next week is really filling up so that's exciting. Now that we're open, I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time hanging out with my cast. It's such an awesome group of people. We're definitely going to make the most of our last week here in Houston.
