Bio

Peyton Royal made his Broadway debut in Susan Stroman's A Christmas Carol with Jim Dale at Madison Square Garden. Other credits include the Carpet in the first ever regional production of Beauty and the Beast (North Shore Music Theatre), tours of The Music Man and Crazy for You, as well as over 20 shows at Music Theatre of Wichita. Other regional credits include Sacramento Music Circus, American Musical Theatre of San Jose, Walnut Street Theatre, Pioneer Theatre Company, and Riverside Theatre.

In addition to performing, Peyton has choreographed and directed shows regionally. Most recently, Peyton directed/choreographed Music Theatre of Wichita's annual Festival of Broadway for the 3rd straight year. Other choreographic credits include Beauty and the Beast (Theatre Arts Productions - Tulsa, OK), The Sound of Music (Tulsa Opera - Tulsa, OK), and numbers for domestic and international tours (Oklahoma City University's American Spirit Dance Company).

As a teacher, Peyton has taught on the local, professional, and university level. He served on the faculty at Oklahoma City University teaching all levels of jazz, tap, and theatre dance.

Peyton also designs websites. His cleints include well-known stars from television, movies, and Broadway -- Corbin Bleu (High School Musical), Kelli O'Hara (Broadway's South Pacific), Devon Werkheiser (Ned's Declassified...) to name a few.

Originally from Salisbury, MD, Peyton now calls New York City his home. He's a proud Summa Cum Laude graduate of Oklahoma City University's Ann Lacy School of American Dance & Arts Management and member of Actors' Equity Association.
